READ 4305 Disciplinary Literacy in Content Area Classrooms

Study of the role of literacy in learning content with a focus on the use of explicit strategy instruction in teaching and monitoring disciplinary literacy, technology integration, vocabulary development, and study skills for all learners. Dyslexia and other literacy-related struggles of diverse learners will be addressed. This course integrates educational technology.
