PSYC 8341 Assessment and Treatment in Mexican American Cultural Contexts

This course focuses on clinical interventions that address the particular mental health needs of Hispanic and Mexican American individuals in the United States.  A particular emphasis is placed on skills that are necessary in order to attain clinical competence in treating members of various Hispanic groups.  Empirically-based psychological treatments for Hispanic patients will be examined.
