Program Restrictions

  • BBA Information Systems Major cannot declare an Information Systems Minor.
  • Second degree seeking students should not declare a Minor in the same field of the major/degree previously earned. 
  • If INFS 3380 and/or INFS 3390 are used to satisfy requirements for any BBA degree, those credits cannot be also applied to the INFS minor. 

Minor Requirements – 18 hours

The Information Systems minor consist of 18 hours of advanced (3000/4000) INFS coursework. Of the 18 hours, 6 hours come from required coursework and 12 hours come from electives as listed below. Students with programming and information technology academic background may be permitted to complete 18 hours of INFS advanced electives to obtain the minor. For more information on this option, please see the Business Advising office or the Chair of the department of Information Systems.
