The UTRGV Master of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Care Administration will prepare you to confidently guide health systems through enormous complexity and constant change. The program, a collaboration between the College of Business and the College of Health Sciences, is designed for experienced working professionals who wish to transition to leadership roles within health care management, administration and operations.

This degree makes you uniquely qualified to:

Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet all requirements for graduate admission to UT Rio Grande Valley, as well as the other requirements listed below:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a recognized international equivalent in allied health science, business, or related field.
  2. Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 60 semester credit hours.
  3. Two letters of recommendation.
  4. Letter of intent.
