PSYC 8165 Advanced Clinical Practicum

This course is advanced practicum training for clinical psychology doctoral candidates under the supervision of a clinical psychologist. This course expands on issues covered in PSYC 8364, and includes advanced techniques for diagnostic interviewing, behavioral assessment, evidence-based treatments, supervision, and consultation. Students meet with their same year peers and the Director of Clinical Training to discuss their clinical practicum experiences, and share their experiences via group case presentations. Particular attention is given to students to develop conceptualization, case formulation and treatment skills. This course must be repeated for credit.

Completion of two credit hours in PSYC 8164 and six credit hours in PSYC 8364 and consent of instructor.
