MEDI 9503 Readiness for Residency
"Readiness for Residency” is designed as a capstone course required for all MS year 4 students in order to assure students are prepared to graduate medical school and enter residency. The course curriculum is competency and EPA based in design and will assess the student’s ability to apply medical knowledge and a patient centered, team-based approach. Clinical modules offered focus on general residency skills such as ACLS, EMR documentation, sign-out, conflict resolution, Team STEPPS, wellness, as well as an OSCE assessment. The course offers didactic group sessions, hands on interactive workshops and trainings as well as on-line modules.
