ANTH 6306 Anthropology of Borders

This course introduces students to a variety of musical case studies drawn from the fields of ethnomusicology, folklore, anthropology and sociology. They will analyze research methodologies, approaches to fieldwork, issues and ideas, and analytical methods locally and globally. They will conduct field work and write an ethnography.
