OBGY 9535 Sub-Internship in Obstetrics & GYN Nights

This sub-internship course is an inpatient experience in advanced obstetrics and gynecology which will strengthen the student's understanding of women's health. The student will work with the attending physician and resident team to care for patients in the labor & delivery, post-partum, and gynecology wards. As well exposure to patients in the operating room and in an acute setting such as the emergency department and OB Triage. The schedule includes 5 shifts from Sunday to Thursday from 6pm to 7am with possible transitional time of not more than 1 hour at the end of each shift. As well as didactic sessions on Friday mornings.

Prerequisite: OBGY 9110 OB/GYN Clerkship.
