Department of Management
The Management department is dedicated to provide high quality management education that prepares students to become leaders for the region, the state and the world. We provide excellent educational opportunities in our academic programs including our undergraduate degree (BBA) in Management with an optional concentration in either Human Resources Management or Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Our Ph.D. program in Business Administration with a concentration in Management is a growing and vibrant program with special faculty expertise in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, and International Management.
We promise to deliver outstanding education in that we have the best professors for both traditional and online teaching. Department of Management boasts winners of UT System Regents’ Outstanding Teaching, College Excellence for Teaching, and Best Online Teaching Practice awards. Our faculty members are knowledge creators and active researchers who have published in top tier management journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Operations Management, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Organization Studies. Our professors also serve on various editorial boards with some as associate editors for top journals.
