ACCT 8309 Accounting Research Paradigms

ACCT 8309 is a introductory doctoral-level course that introduces students to basic concepts in academic accounting research. Students will be exposed to a number of different research approaches utilized in various subfield of accounting (e.g., financial, managerial, auditing and information systems). The objective of the course is to equip students with an introductory set of knowledge and skills that enables them to use methods appropriate for their own reserach projects. Research ethics are emphasized.
