COMD 6370 Seminar in Speech-Language Pathology

This seminar is designed to address topics within the field of speech-language pathology for which the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Through this course, students will receive exposure to topics not covered in other required courses.  Specific topics may change as the scope of practice within the profession also changes. Some current topic areas that may be included in this seminar include but are not limited to, cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies, counseling techniques, medical speech-language pathology and telepractice. Topics will be chosen primarily by the course instructor but student input will be considered as their needs indicate. This course is repeatable only if the content is different from the previous course taken. Maximum credits: 6.
