INFS 6200 Business Analytics Internship II

In this course, a student gains real-world experience and improves analytics competencies through an analytics-related internship that is different from their current employment or job. Students must identify and submit specific analytics learning objectives at the beginning of the internship. The MSBA Program expects that the internship experience will provide the environment for the student intern to gain relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities that align with his/her career goals. This course is designed to be taken as one of a pair, together with INFS 6100, for a total of the two courses combined, of 3 credits. At the end of the internship, including both courses, the student prepares an oral presentation or a reflection paper about the work experience. Student internship performance is evaluated by the work supervisor. INFS 6100 and INFS 6200 need to be taken either concurrently or sequentially for credit.
