TRSP 6341 Translation Studies Methodology

An introduction to research in the field of Translation Studies. Students will learn to differentiate between speculative and empirical approaches to Translation Studies. They will become familiar with how to develop an empirical research plan, including the development of hypotheses, the gathering of data through different methods, and the analysis of such data. Additionally, students will fine tune their communication skills for the adequate presentation of research findings.
