OBGY 9540 Sub-Internship in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)

This OBGYN Maternal - Fetal Medicine elective course will allow learners to be involved in the evaluation and treatment of high-risk pregnancies. The student will be primarily incorporated into the inpatient care team which is responsible for caring for complex obstetrical patients. The student will also have an opportunity to participate in the outpatient setting with patient consults and sonograms. This rotation will be focused at Women's Hospital at Renaissance and surrounding outpatient clinic sites. Most of the patient care is provided Monday through Friday, but some work on the weekends is expected.

 

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the MS3 OBG clerkship and current status as MS4.
