MANE 3437 Thermal and Fluid Sciences
Topics include the thermodynamic properties of materials, the first and second law of thermodynamics; one dimensional steady state and lumped mass unsteady heat transfer; hydrostatics, conservation of mass, energy and momentum in inviscid fluid flow, and viscous flow in pipes.
Prerequisite
Grade of 'C' or better in either [MANE2403 or
MECE 2301 or ENGR 2301] and credit/registration in
MATH 3341.
