MGMT 3362 Human Resource Management

This course focuses on the current developments within the field of human resource management. Students will study the concepts, principles, policies, and organizational procedures used by businesses in the management of personnel. Topics include employment law, recruitment, selection, compensation, training and development, career management, performance management, collective bargaining, labor relations, and employee health and safety. Quantitative skills will be applied in this course.

Prerequisite

All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
