QUMT 4343 Quantitative Methods for Decision-Making in Business

This course introduces students to quantitative based decision analysis techniques used in an informed decision making process across many functional areas of the enterprise. The course addresses analytical problems in human staffing, operations flow, marketing mix, and supply chain management settings. Analytical methods include but are not limited to linear programming, network modeling, project scheduling (PERT & CPM), decision analysis, and inventory modeling.

Prerequisite

QUMT 3343 or QUMT 3341. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
