SOCI 4325 Sociology of Culture

This course introduces students to the sociological study of culture, including how culture relates to inequality and social organization. Students will become familiar with empirical work on the production and implications of cultural goods, as well as classic and contemporary theoretical accounts of the role of culture in social life.
