SOCW 4354 Field Education I
This course is the first half of the social work practicum requirement for undergraduate social work students who choose to complete their practicum in two consecutive semesters. The course requires a minimum of 240 hours in the first semester of in-the-field experience in established social agencies or community settings under joint supervision of the agency social worker and a Department of Social Work faculty member.
Prerequisite
Admission into the BSW program. Approval by the Office of Field Education. Grade of "B" or better in
SOCW 4301,
SOCW 4302 and
SOCW 4303.
