SPAN 1311 Beginning Spanish I

This is a beginning Spanish course designated for non-Spanish speakers who have no previous experience with the Spanish language. This course is designated to develop basic Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing within a cultural framework. Students will acquire the vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary to communicate and comprehend at the beginner level. By the end of the semester, instruction will be approximately 80% in Spanish.
