HGEN 8304 Biostatistics in Human Genetics Research

This course is a survey of the basic statistical approaches that are employed in human genetics using relevant examples. Primary topics include basic statistical theory; correlation/regression; linear mixed models allowing for genetic relatedness; power analysis and study design; the multiple testing problem; introductory multivariate analysis; and genetic data analysis using R and SOLAR.
