REHS 8305 Mixed Methods & Qualitative Research

This course will overview mixed-methods and qualitative research approaches within the context of understanding the lives and experiences of people with disabilities. Students will acquire skills and gain experience using a wide range of methodological and analytical research techniques. The emphasis of the course is research design, data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data within mixed methods design frameworks. In addition, students will examine and evaluate mixed methods and qualitative literature and develop a research project using mixed methods or qualitative methodologies.
