SOCI 6306 Multiple Regression Analysis

This course is designed to provide graduate students an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles, assumptions, and application of multiple regression. Students will develop proficiency estimating and assessing ordinary least squares and binary logistic regression models, as well as mastery of statistical software used to conduct original research. The course emphasizes the substantive interpretation of quantitative results and considers such additional topics as interaction effects, nonlinear relationships, and violations of assumptions in regression analysis.
