INFS 8320 Theories in Information Systems Research

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how to apply and develop theories in information systems (IS) research. The course is divided into two parts: The first part focuses on individual-level information systems topics, including behavior, cognition, affect, motivation, and intention. The second part centers on organizational-level information systems topics, including IS development, implementation, management, and impact. Students will acquire the skills necessary to conduct theory-driven research through reading relevant literature, critiquing research papers, and developing their own research projects.
