QUMT 8315 Applied Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

This course introduces students to hands-on applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods in academic research. Such topics may include supervised & unsupervised Machine Learning (ML), deep learning, natural language processing, explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), causal ML, AutoML, big data technologies, etc. To be familiar with cutting-edge research, articles and book chapters from various disciplines will be discussed.
