CLSC 3310 Hematology I

This course provides an overview of the formation, function, and identifying characteristics of the cellular elements of blood. Lecture and laboratory emphasize the enumeration, morphology, and staining characteristics of normal and abnormal blood cells in healthy and diseased states. Coagulation physiology and methods of detecting defects will also be introduced.
