CLSC 4521 Clinical Chemistry II

Continuation of Clinical Chemistry I with an emphasis on more advanced concepts and procedures including acid base balance, endocrine testing, toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring as well as the associated normal and abnormal physiology and the appropriate clinical correlation of results. Alternate specimen types such as body fluids and fecal samples will also be addressed. Advanced quality assurance and pre- and post-analytical concepts principles will also be discussed.
