CRIJ 4335 Restorative and Community Justice

Examination of principles and ideas of restorative and community justice as an alternative justice paradigm. The historical foundation, practices/interventions, perspectives, and the future of restorative justice; and community justice are explored in the context of crime repair. Other issues include rebuilding communities, creating positive community sentiments, and improving the capacity of communities to prevent and respond to crime.
