EECE 3371 Electrical Power Systems

This course covers the practical design of electrical power and lighting distribution for commercial, industrial and residential buildings, based on National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. The NEC, regulatory considerations, industry standards, and the Texas Engineering Practice Act are discussed. Current commercial, industrial and residential projects are analyzed, and students will have the opportunity to complete designs for sample residential and office buildings.
