SOCW 3314 Social Welfare Policy and Programs

This course examines economic, political, intellectual, socio cultural, leadership, values, and ideologies and other such factors that shape social welfare policy, programs, and services. Addresses various frameworks for studying social policy and examines the roles of policy-makers, process of social change, and the role of the social worker as a facilitator of change.
