THTF 1336 Introduction to Film & Video Production

Introduction to Film and Video is an entry-level course that promotes creative expression in media arts. The course will serve as a basic introduction to narrative video production from pre-to post-production as well as a survey of theoretical approaches. The goal of the course is for the student to develop personal aesthetics and strong production skills through an integration of exploration, critique, theory and practice by the production of individual and group projects, viewing of other artists' work, directed readings and class critiques.
