PEDI 9110 General Pediatrics Clerkship

The Pediatrics Clerkship is an 8-week course that focuses on the study of Pediatric Medicine, including the necessary skills, knowledge, and professional behavior. Students participate in supervised care teams, learning about routine well-childcare and managing acute and chronic pediatric medical conditions. Emphasizing growth, health supervision principles, critical decision-making, and culturally sensitive communication, the clerkship enables students to translate their pre-clinical knowledge into clinical competencies in Pediatrics.
