MGMT 3335 Essentials of Business Communication

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective communication in a business environment. It covers both written and verbal communication. Students will learn to craft clear, concise professional communication suitable for diverse audiences and purposes. They will explore various communication media, including email, memos, reports, presentations and interpersonal interactions, and apply communication strategies and techniques in business scenarios. In this course, students will acquire effective communication skills that can help them pursue their careers and succeed at work.

Prerequisite

ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 or ENGL 1305 with a minimum grade of "C". All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they can enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
