ANTH 4308 Comparative Colonialisms in the Americas
This course examines the interactions between indigenous groups and expansive empires in North, South, and Central America. Emphasis will be placed on changes in the social and natural environment as wrought through colonial occupations and conquest. Examination of these changes will be done through the documentary and archaeological records.
Prerequisite
3 hours from any of these areas: anthropology (ANTH), economics (ECON), psychology (PSYC), sociology (SOCI), or consent of instructor.
