COMD 3355 Survey of Neurological Disorders

The course provides an introduction to acquired speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders resulting from brain injury. Basic neurophysiology is reviewed followed by discussion of etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis, of these disorders. ASHA Standards IV, B, D, D, E, G.
