PHYS 1425 Physics of Sound and Music

An integrated lecture-lab course designated to introduce students to elementary physics concepts as illustrated in the production and perception of sound and music. Topics to be covered include: (i) vibrations and waives; (ii) perception of sound; III) hearing and voice; (iv) musical instruments and room acoustics.
