EXAR 7325 Expressive Arts Therapy Modalities - Movement

The expressive arts therapy modalities associated with movement and somatic approaches will be explored in this course. Modalities include dance, movement, drama, and music. Students will learn the history and the theoretical application of using these modalities in therapy with specific populations. Students will develop a comprehensive written plan for creating, administering, and managing healing experiences using movement and somatic approaches.
