MANE 6366 Advanced Machining

This is a course in advanced machining that is used to make final products. The physical principles underlying the manufacturing processes will be discussed. The students will become familiar with the commonly used manufacturing processes, understand the effects of manufacturing processes on the properties of materials machined, and develop an understanding of how to select materials and develop the manufacturing plan to make a product.
