MUSI 3302 Music History and Literature III
A historical survey of Western musical traditions from the late 19th century until today. The course will include a study of styles and genres, and will place emphasis on listening, formal structure, and musical analysis. The course is also designed to increase the students’ critical thinking skills and ability to write effectively about the aesthetics of Western Music.
