Program Overview

The "Cyber Security Advanced" Certificate makes a student well-versed in advanced concepts in cyber security relevant to real-world systems.  All the courses from this undergraduate certificate program are fully transferable into the Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security. The three certificates may not share hours amongst each other.

Admission requirements for this program beyond university admission requirements. 

  • Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor's program to be admitted to the Cyber Security Advanced certificate. 
  • Students must have passed CYBI 3335 and must have completed the following coursework with a grade of "C" or better : MATH 2412, CSCI 1380, CYBI 1101, CYBI 2322, CYBI 2324, and CYBI 2326,. Students who apply to the program without completing MATH 2412 with a grade of "C" or better, CSCI 1380 with a grade of "C" or better, or without the required prerequisites will have their transcripts assessed by the program coordinator to ensure leveling requirements are met.

Specific graduation requirements for this program beyond university bachelor's degree requirements. 

  • Students must complete all certificate courses.
