NUTR 4359 Community Nutrition

This course reviews the responsibilities and skills essential to a career in community nutrition within the federal, state, local, and private sectors. Topics include community nutrition education design (i.e. planning, implementing, and evaluating), behavior change theories and strategies, cultural competence, nutrition education marketing, and interpretation of community nutrition data and research findings.
