QUMT 4343 Prescriptive Analytics

This course applies prescriptive analytical tools to solve problems for managing the functional areas of any business enterprise. It will cover methodologies for optimization, which are designed to develop analytical problem-solving skills in human staffing, operations flow, marketing mix, supply chain management, etc. Analytical methods include but are not limited to linear programming, network modeling, decision analysis, inventory modeling, forecasting, etc.

Prerequisite

All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
