PMSB 8303 Foot Pathology and Surgery

This module is the continuation of your studies in Podiatric Medicine Surgery and Biomechanics PMSB 8301. As you have experienced, PMSB is an intense, ongoing core curriculum course series beginning in your first semester and ending in your senior year. Podiatric Medicine Biomechanics and Surgery is a dynamic, core course that will be presented over several years in a cumulative fashion, complementing other coursework being presented concurrently. PMSB 8303 will implement the core competencies learned in PMSB 8301 in lower limb anatomy, foot radiology and basic biomechanics principles and build a knowledge base that will serve as a foundation for more complicated disease states and pathologies of the foot ankle. The goal of PMSB 8303 is to prepare you for your core clinical rotations at various hospitals and teaching affiliate facilities during years 3 & 4, where you will engage in hands on patient care to solidify the principles and concepts you will have learned.
