Undergraduate Non-Degree-Seeking Student
NON-DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS
Non-degree seeking students are individuals who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree and who are interested in taking undergraduate courses to fulfill prerequisite requirements or educational objectives for a particular undergraduate program or for professional development.
APPLICANTS WITH AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE FROM ANOTHER ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY, INCLUDING UT-BROWNSVILLE

Submit Transfer Application Through ApplyTexas. Indicate you have earned a bachelor’s degree along with the name of the institution that granted the degree and date conferredunder the Education and testing section of the Core Questions in ApplyTexas.

Official Transcripts. Submit the official college transcript that indicates Bachelor's degree earned. It is not necessary to send UT-Brownsville transcripts.
APPLICANTS WITH AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE FROM UTRGV OR UTPA

Submit Returning Application through ApplyTexas. Indicate you have earned a bachelor’s degree from UTRGV along with date conferred under the Education and testing section of the Core Questions in ApplyTexas.

Official Transcripts. It is not necessary to send UTPA/UTRGV transcripts.
EVALUATION OF TRANSFER CREDIT
Transfer coursework is not evaluated for non-degree seeking undergraduate students. Non-degree seeking students who wish to pursue an additional bachelor’s degree, must apply as a Second-Degree Seeking student. More information can be found under the Multiple Degrees section of this document.
