ANTH 4320 Anthropology of Conflict and Human Rights
This course reviews anthropological perspectives on human conflict, violence, human rights violations, and crimes against humanity, from a biocultural lens. This course examines the contributions of cultural anthropology (ethnography), bioarcheology, and forensic anthropology to understand past and present human conflicts at multiple scales.
Prerequisite
Three hours from any of these areas: anthropology (ANTH), economics (ECON), psychology (PSYC), sociology (SOCI), or consent of instructor.
