BIOL 4335 Cancer Biology

This course will explore the molecular and cellular mechanisms of cancer, including in-depth discussions on how changes in the regulation of cell growth, fate, and survival lead to tumor initiation, progression, and spreading. Course topics include the natural history of cancer, oncogenes, tumor suppressors, cancer-causing viruses, and current therapeutic approaches to cancer treatment.
