BMED 2301 Integrated Body Systems I
This interdisciplinary course examines the correlations between the structures and functions of the body’s various systems by focusing on the cellular and tissue levels and how the integration of organ systems is necessary for whole-body function. The course will use examples concentrating on the complex integration of organ systems, including neural, endocrine, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems. It will also explore the mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis and its relationships to the development of clinical conditions.
