ENGL 3377 Methods and Assessments for English Language Learners

This introductory course focuses on instructional methods and classroom assessments for English Language Learners. The main topics included are instructional development, teaching methods, cross-curricular English, assessment of social and academic language proficiency, content assessment of ELLs, and standards-referencing assessments. Topics will be discussed in the context of state standards of English proficiency.
