ENVR 3306 Environmental Justice

This course provides an overview of environmental justice theories and the ways that environmental justice scholars from across multiple fields, including race, gender, and indigenous studies, problematize, conceptualize, and address environmental injustices in the domains of agriculture, waste, water, energy, and climate. Throughout the course, students will examine, through course readings, lectures, critical reflections, and a case study assignment, environmental justice challenges as they arise in the environmental science field.
