HIST 3371 Modern Middle Eastern History

This course concentrates on the history of the Middle East from 1798 to present. The course focuses on the historical origins of modern socio-political issues in the Middle East such as the Arab-Israeli Conflict, the "Kurdish Problem", oil and water issues, nationalism, the rise of political Islam, and other regional issues.
